This project investigates the impact of lifelong learning policies on young adults, focusing on compatibility, effects, and regional policymaking. It aims to identify effective strategies for integrating education and labor market needs, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Most European Lifelong Learning (LLL) policies have been designed to create economic growth and, at the same time, guarantee social inclusion (EC 2010).
First, we will study how different LLL policies are compatible with each other in terms of their orientations and objectives and how each policy considers the needs of ‘young adults’.
Second, we will research the intended and unintended effects of policies on young adults.
