ZANBA investigates the social dynamics of the Nuragic Culture in Bronze Age Sardinia by analyzing animal remains. It combines isotope and morphological studies to understand elite identity formation, landscape use, and power consolidation through practices like feasting and hunting.
ZANBA will combine cutting-edge, multi-scalar isotope analyses with morphological analysis of zooarchaeological remains tounderstand the relationships among developing elite identities, landscape use, and power consolidation in the NuragicCulture of Bronze Age Sardinia (c. 1700-1100 BCE).
