This project investigates the interactions between phosphorus and zinc in the mineral nutrition of Brassica oleracea, aiming to improve crop yield and mineral content. It employs a multidisciplinary approach to enhance phosphorus use efficiency and increase zinc accumulation in edible crops.
The overall goal of this project is to understand phosphorus (P) and zinc (Zn) interactions in the mineral nutrition of Brassica oleracea, a species that has been bred into a wide range of crops such as broccoli, cabbage, kale and cauliflower.
