Top Horizon coordinators

Coordinators shape work plans, reporting, and consortium dynamics. Knowing which institutions routinely lead in your domain helps you target outreach — whether you seek a strong coordinator or want to avoid overcrowded leadership benches.

Coordinator signal in CORDIS

CORDIS marks which organization coordinates each funded project. Aggregating those rows yields a defensible "top coordinators" view per topic, country, and programme — distinct from simple funding totals. GRANTIBASE exposes that through the Coordinator radar and through coordinator sections inside Partner Finder and call pages.

How to explore coordinator rankings

Open the Coordinator radar with Horizon Europe selected to bias results toward the current framework. Enter the same topic vocabulary you would use in a work programme keyword search. Layer country filters when you care about where the coordinating legal entity is registered — a frequent structural constraint in multi-national consortia.

Coordinator intensity on organization pages complements the radar: you see what share of an entity's projects it leads, not only how much funding it attracted. Use both views when you evaluate whether a partner is a natural coordinator or a strong specialist participant.

Rankings, insights, and calls

For funding-weighted organization rankings across the whole database, see Insights. For call-specific coordinator and partner lists derived from funded projects under one identifier, use Calls. Together, these surfaces answer "who leads in my topic?" at programme, call, and organization granularity.
