The URISAMP project is exploring the use of first-void urine samples for monitoring HPV infections and vaccinations. This non-invasive method aims to improve cervical cancer screening by providing a reliable alternative to traditional clinician-collected samples.
The ability to easily obtain appropriate and reliable biological samples is critical to advancing life sciences and public/personal health.
Having a sample that is non-invasive and can be self-collected at home has major acceptance and implementation advantages.
