The GRASP project investigates the potential of a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It aims to assess its effects on hormonal dynamics and reproductive health in both animal models and women with PCOS.
PCOS is the most common endocrine disorder affecting up to 18% of women worldwide.
The syndrome imposes a heavy health burden, covering infertility, obesity, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
