This project focuses on developing non-toxic perovskite solar cells using tin instead of lead, enabling their integration into fabrics for photovoltaic shading systems. These systems can generate energy while providing shade, reducing reliance on external power sources and minimizing land use.
One of the key measures being undertaken by the EU to tackle climate change and reduce CO2 emissions is to massively increase the amount of energy produced from renewable sources, particularly solar energy.
