This project aims to enhance the safety of laparoscopic surgeries by characterizing gas leaks and developing vacuum devices to capture and filter these leaks. It focuses on protecting healthcare staff from potential viral transmission during surgical procedures, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
